And when playing with his trains he'll do the actions of opening the ramps for each car and driving the car onto the ramp and folding it onto boxcar, then connecting them all together on the track with the magnets and watching them go. It's a nice extra interaction to add to the train set instead of just adding on a line of boxcars by magnets. Moreover, the train cab opens and there is a train engineer that can be taken in and out! Also a fun thing to interact with. Kind of wish that the front steam train also had a magnet in the front of the train, but still great value without it. I purchased this Hape Set and have to say the quality is night and day. The train and train cars seem to have a little bit of weight to them so they don’t always derail by the slightest bump in the track. The magnets of the train and train cars are also a nice strength and I am going to look for other Hape trains in the near future.
