They had a higher waist than what regular underwear tends to have but weren't exactly the same as other high waist knickers. I was in desperate need for some as regular underwear was very uncomfortable due to my c-section scar and dreaded c-section pouch. (Lovely, I know!) Regular pairs kept on digging right into the scar whereas these fitted really well and ended slightly above the scar. Comfortable waistband and also plenty of give in the size. I do think that these were a bit pricey for underwear as I don't really tend to spend as much as this on underwear. However, the comfort factor alone was something that I just don't get with a pack of standard supermarket underwear. I think that these would be very nice to wear during pregnancy as they have lots of give in them and wouldn't feel too tight or uncomfortable. Also brilliant for having for afterwards. Nice selection of colours also. I would recommend these! I have given these four stars and not five simply due to these not being up to your stomach button highness!
