Also what gauge wire do you recommend?** A: 400w at 12v is roughly 30 amps, as a licensed electrician I would recommend #8 THHN Stranded wire, upsize to a #6 if you’re running it over 50’ for some voltage drop. I doubt you’ll run at 100% long.
