The sound of this instrument is beautiful, very high quality, and there are two different sides to each mallet, a small one for a quieter sound and a large one for a louder sound, which is really nice when parents need a little quiet, but still able to hear the sound. The xylophone is labeled with the notes/letters which helps in learning and the book of songs is an excellent resource and makes it easy to learn how to read and play music!
