Really large mallet, I use every day. But for some odd reason if you use them so hard the felt at the tip will fall apart. This had happen to me last week Drum Circle. I have repaired it use are large Velcro Cloth end which did fix the issues so much I did the other Mallet also. They wear out very quick these mallets. The soft black cover you can make your own though, not hard to replace the foam head.
