I encountered no problems. Review: Good Product - I used this product to keep water from working its way between a flat rubber roof and the aluminum drip edging. The tape is like a strip of rubber with adhesive on both sides that sticks immediately to anything it touches. The rubber stretches like a piece of chewing gum if you try to remove it for repositioning. It will come off but stretches out of shape and cannot be reused. I cleaned both surfaces with a rag soaked with a deglosser liquid available in any paint supply area before applying the tape. The rubber tape is a little under 1/16" thick. I am hoping that it will have enough give to compensate for the differential, thermal expansion between rubber and aluminum while remaining stuck to both surfaces. The horizontal surface of my drip edge is about 2 3/4" wide and lays on top of the rubber roof for a variety of reasons. December 2014 update - Still stuck to both surfaces January 2017 update - Still working like the day I applied it. I should point out, this tape sits between the rubber roofing and the aluminum trim, both of which are covered with pea gravel.
