The buckle engages and disengages easily. The belt is stiff enough to hold weight, like a gun, magazines or knife. The design easy to use. The critical part of these tactical quick release buckles is the right-side attachment to the buckle. The buckle is not meant to be passed through belt loops. It is too big. So, when installing on pants, the belt without the buckle goes through the belt loops and then attached to the buckle. The buckle is for quick release and quick engagement. It's fast to put your pants back on if the belt is left on the pants so you can simply engage the buckle. The question is how the belt attaches to the right side of the buckle. Most use the triglide buckle like this belt. It is simple and works.
