If the child is receiving regular allowance, it is a hassle to squeeze fingers and money through each of the small holes. Also, the cover to each hole is difficult to align and remove. We eventually learned to roll the dollars lengthwise and put a rubber band around the money. Had I known about this issue, I would not have purchased it. I actually bought 4 different styles of these banks for our 4 children last Christmas. Of any of the banks, this was the best because the dollars can fit in length wise. The other banks have an even smaller storage capacity, so they are more difficult to work with.
