I can’t say too much about it without giving away all of the juicy details but I will say this... this book wrapped up #Trew’s story impeccably! Everything fell into place just as it was meant to. I couldn’t have asked for a better ending for this love story!This book was emotionally crippling. I can’t imagine the pain and heartbreak the author felt as she poured her heart and soul into this novel. Trent and Drew are clearly her favorite boys and she did them justice from cover to cover with #Fate!I teetered on the edge of soul crushing sadness and overwhelming joy just about the entire read! My heart swelled for the love these two characters shared. It ripped me to shreds that this was their reality and how cruel the world could be. For Trent especially.The re-appearance of the entire #Hashtag crew had me laughing and grimacing and remembering why this series and it’s characters stole my heart so long ago. The entire gang surrounded Trent and Drew with open arms, blind loyalty and fierce protectiveness. They were an unbreakable family unit, moving and making decisions as one. All I can say is it was a perfect finale to the #GearShark series but man what an emotional roller coaster I’ve just been on as I was crying at some points and laughing at others. I love Drew and Trent #Trew love Forever. Cambria the way they progressed since #Junkie & #Rev totally seemed like a natural progression from the situation in this book and it didn’t seemed forced at all just to give us fans another book so thank you. I’d recommend not just this book but the whole #GearShark & #Hashtag series as well as Cambria Hebert in general to anyone looking for something new to read even if they’ve never read a M/M story before, I hadn’t before I read #Junkie now I love reading gay romance genre stories I’m hooked. Cambria Hebert weaves a tale of total love and devotion that draws you in so that every ounce of worry and anguish and love that the characters feel is what you’re feeling. For me, that’s talent in its purest form. And I ran through a full gamut of emotions. Joy, pain, heartache, worry, and relief. Just to name a few.My heart is completely overwhelmed with everything Trent went through after Drew’s accident at the season opener of the NRR and it’s going to take a bit to process all the words I’ve read and let them settle. We all should be so lucky to find a love like what these two young men share.Trent quickly became one of my favorite characters in #Nerd. He quietly sat in the background and observed what his friends were doing. I loved him and hoped that we’d see him in his own novel with the girl of his dreams. Little did I know that he’d find a love so strong and sure that he’d never lack for it again! Watching two best friends fall in love was amazing. Drew is his match and equal in every way and I wouldn’t change it for anything.It was hard to watch their family’s reaction to that love. I wanted to grab both of them close and mother them myself all the while slapping their parents upside their heads. I just don’t understand how parents can do to their children what’s been done to them. The outcome of Trent and Drew’s relationship is joyous, but the hardship of getting there punches you right in the heart.There are some surprises along the way that will tickle you pink and I just loved them! I don’t want to spoil anything by giving them away, so just know you won’t be disappointed in this book.Thank you Cambria for a wonderful addition to a series that has consumed me. I reread these books a lot and love all of them, but I think #Fate is quite possibly your best work. It’s obvious that you’ve poured your heart and soul into it and it’s been my pleasure to be along for the ride!
