I cannot use the regular-sized ones, my ponytail just doesn't fit in them. And now that hiar salons have been closed due to COVID19, my hair has gotten longer and even more difficult to pass through the loop. I can only loop it twice still, but it holds very well.I only buy Scunchi brand because I know they will be of quality. Tried another off-brand and had to throw them away because they couldn't keep my hair in place. The Scunchi ties are stretchy, yet firm and strong. Sometimes they pull and thin at the point where the elastic is connected, but they are never loose or break.A great product here on amazon, and you get many of them for the price. These will last me for a couple of years, at least. I also enjoy the fun colors they come in.
