Review: Exactly what I was looking for - This is exactly what I was looking for. I purchased another product, the Boyata laptop stand and needed to add the ability for it to swivel. It is low profile with a controlled swivel. Don't expect a Lazy Susan type of spin. Because of it's measured movement, I am able to direct to a specific angle and it doesn't shift. Some of this swivel base extends beyond the base of the laptop stand, but I don't consider this to be a detriment. It provides full stability and is visible a mere fraction out the front and back of the stand. Delivery was fast. I just got this, so I will resubmit any issues if they arise.

**Q: Would this work with apple mac mini or the new mac studio, both are 7.7" squares?**
A: I have a 27” iMac on it and it works great.  The 4 corners of a 7” by 7” square will hang of a little bit I think it will still work very well.

**Q: Is this swivel bae large enough to fit iMac 27" fooprint? Or just the 21" iMac?**
A: Stand size on the Mac is the same regardless of screen size. 

Yes fits and works perfectly. Looks like an authentic Apple item actually.

Reviews on this are polarizing. I think it depends on how you're using it. I have an LG Ultrafine 5K 27" monitor, a MOTU M4 audio interface, and a Bridge Stone USB-C dock stacked on it. It works just fine. It tuns smoothly, doesn't make any unusual noises, and I would buy it again for this purpose. Maybe others got a defect?
