I have a part pit rescue and a new car with light cloth seats which makes a very bad combination. I keep my dog in the back so I purchased the Devoted Doggy Premium cover that is a sling back for that area which fits perfectly, is soft and easy to install. I bought that for the pup. I also purchased the Deluxe Bucket Seat cover for me. I found that the driver seat get's dirty quickly from jean's, etc. just by getting in and out of the car, so I purchased the bucket seat cover to prevent further damage to the seat. It is a perfect fit and completely cover's the seat. There are three straps to attach to the seat back, headrest and underneath and a piece to hold the cover to the bend in the seat back, so it hold's in place. The bottom of the seat is also covered with an elasticized skirt that is secured with a quick release buckle web belt. Very happy with this purchase! The fit is snug --- thanks to the fitted skirt, the tube thing that goes between the seat and the back, and the strap that goes under the seat. My dog tries to move the fabric with his paws, like dogs do when they are trying to make their blanket more comfortable. He also turns in circles. the seat cover never moves. It is easy to just brush dirt off the fabric -- I don't know if I will ever actually have to wash it.
