I wouldn’t use it in place of proper shirt stays for my military uniform, but it works great for business casual and casual wear to keep shirts from coming untucked. It just doesn’t keep them *tight* like the shirt stays that connect to your socks/feet. However, it is super comfortable to wear, which is a revolution for people looking to tuck their shirt in. Great for daily use, at work or out on the town.As for the design, I can’t figure out what the little leather squares are for. I think it would work a little better if it had a rubbery materiel around it, but it still does a pretty good job. It’s just slightly more prone to rising up than I think it should be, but it’s really not a big deal. I’m a 34” waist wish the belt adjusted more to pull it in tighter.
