This battery did not really change that. First, the "tools" they give you to unscrew the battery don't fit any of the laptop screws, let alone the weird ones that hold the battery. I had to use a small flathead. More importantly, the battery doesn't last more than 90-120 minutes. Certainly not new battery like performance. To make it worse, the battery seems to tell the computer that it has a MUCH bigger charge than it does. I know there's some time for the computer to "learn" how much charge the battery has compared to the computer power needs. But even a couple of weeks later, my computer thinks this thing has a 6 hour charge, when it has 1/3 of that time. At least my crappy old battery told me it only had 60 minutes worth of charge.
