Or is it use to identify veins for catheders?** A: This tourniquet is only used to find veins. I actually have never used these...I bought them for my coworker and she says that they are flimsy and get stuck while clasped. The only tourniquets that I use are the prestige latex free tourniquets. They cost a little bit more but they are durable, latex free and autoclavable. They are very strong.
