If you need one (and you do), get it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Only had it on for about a month *by V***H on September 24, 2024* Functions perfectly.. probably just like the factory one. Like others, i had difficulty stretching the spring to the attachment point. My wife sat on the bike with both brakes on and i used my backhoe to gently stretch the spring enough to insert about a dozen washers to lengthen the spring. Released the backhoe and the spring was longer than needed to attach to the mounting pin. Then i simply removed each washer with a pair of pliers. I hope it passes the test of time.. if the spring tab weld fails, I'll just reweld it. Having the center stand on my Versys X 300 is awesome.. makes all wheel cleaning and chain maintenance sooo easy.
