They will write on anything! Dirty paper? No problem. Cardboard? Easy. The pen is extremely durable too. I have dropped mine countless times and I still have zero issues with them. I wish there were more colors outside of Red, Blue, and Black, but I guess I have Energel for the other colors (Those are great pens too btw). As a lefty, these pens are amazing. They dry so fast! I will say that SOMETIMES they put out a little too much ink and will smear, but it's not common. You can't beat the price for the writing quality you get from these though.
