We got the size 160, in Navy, for her to wear under her school uniform dresses, and skirts, in the winter. They keep her legs warmer than her actual pants do. They are thick, soft, warm and comfortable, and look great. [I am careful about not over-drying them in the dryer. Sometimes I hang them up damp, or dry on low heat].We got these in black - size 140, and 150, previously. The 140 was snug and a bit short, and the 150 was the right length and comfortable; but my 10-yr-old, grew a lot, so I went for the 160 this time, and they are still not too big.
