It is easy to work with and is of a great consistency that holds it shape. My application was for flat mini-ornaments. This is very flexible and not sticky. I use this clay to make miniature foods and other miniature objects and it is the best. It's called Fimo soft but it's still not so soft that you can't do anything with it. I've bought lots and lots of clay from this brand and I've yet to be disappointed! 😊 If you're looking for a clay for little kids to use to just play around with and make things for fun I'm not sure this is the one you want because even though it's called soft, it may still be too hard for little kids to soften it up enough to be able to use it. But then again I guess it depends on the kid. It bakes perfectly, just follow the instructions on the back. There are so many different colors and if you're just starting out they have plenty of variety packs with multiple colors you can try. I think the price point is perfect! If you keep it wrapped in plastic when you're not using it it will last for a very long time without drying out! **Q: How much does fimo clay shrink? I want to use it to extend crochet hooks. Thanks!**
A: it doesn't. Great for crochet hooks (not plastic ones, of course). Wood, metal, bamboo will be fine at the appropriate oven temp. You might apply a thin layer of liquid polymer clay to the hook handle. Shape the clay as desired. Mold it to your hand if you want to. Bake per manufacturer's instructions. Probably about an hour at the thickness you're looking for: 30 min per 1/4" thickness

**Q: After firing is this sand able and drill able? Loiking to build a small structure inside of a model kit and I need to get a small led inside.**
A: Yes you should. The thinner the easier time you will have. It's it's thick, you'll have to be careful because it may crack.

**Q: Can food be served in this?**
A: No, polymer clay is not food safe.

**Q: What's a good glaze or paint that would go with this? Making a soap dish so needs to be durable & nontoxic. Thanks!**
A: you really dont need glaze, after it bakes,  its just hard plastic.

This is a quality product: the polymer clay is very malleable. Bakes true to color. It is easy to work with and is of a great consistency that holds it shape. My application was for flat mini-ornaments. This is very flexible and not sticky. As a person who loves Play-Doh, polymer clay is a wonderful adult hobby. Once you try Fimo, it's hard to go back to anything else! I use this clay to make miniature foods and other miniature objects and it is the best. I use this clay to make fretboard inlays for guitar necks. The glow in the dark gives a really cool unique look. I can make a lot of dots with this one package. Easy to work with.
