They are super quiet with plenty of airflow for our 9' ceilings and the remote control is sweet! We did purchase the 12" downrod separately for both fans! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good fan but downrod hassles *by V***9 on September 29, 2018* Here’s the thing. This is a good fan. I like it. Pretty quiet. Looks good for the price. However, if you want anything longer than a 5” downrod, it becomes an immense pain in the behind.This is my 3rd of these fans (good fan, as I mentioned), but I had mentally blocked how hard it is to find a 24” x 1/2” downrod to attach this thing to my ceiling. The downrod is close to impossible to find (most are 3/4”), and I have to custom order from the seller. Wouldn’t it make sense to sell them on Amazon if the fan is sold on Amazon? Apparently not.Last time I had to call and give my credit card info over the phone. Not an awesome method, but ok. That was 2-3 years ago. Fingers crossed the process is easier this time.In the meantime, I have a fan in a box in my floor. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Receiver is too large to install in ceiling box *by L***U on May 27, 2024* The fan looked nice and all but its a terrible design. The receiver for the remote control is fairly large and there are no provisions in the fan assembly/canopy cover to stuff the receiver into. The receiver is meant to be wired then put up into your ceiling box which was impossible for me since my ceiling box was shallow and too small. Most other fans have a place in the fan itself/canopy/cover to place the receiver.
