This stuff covered it and yeah you can see it but will make it last longer than it would with out it. It stayed on perfectly from south west Mo. to north central Kentucky. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Undecided value *by J***R on Reviewed in the United States on August 15, 2022* I used this tape to repair a two inch tear on the edge of my slide topper. The tear was about four inches from the top of the awning. Easy enough to use. I applied a patch on the top, with another on the bottom. Then I wrapped a third piece around around the end also covering the top and bottom patch pieces. The problem arose when I rolled the slide (and awning) in. The tape failed to remain in place, and instead simply pulled from the awning material. This tape may work for a flat type of tear, but didn't work for an edge repair near the top edge. All materials were dry at the time of repair. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Better than expected... A++ *by W***R on Reviewed in the United States on March 12, 2023* Testing the adhesive with my finger before trying to apply this repair tape, I had my doubts. I had a 2" edge rip at the RV attach point with about 1/2" seam between the RV and canopy. Cleaned, applied and wrapped the repair tape around the leading edge of the tear and the adhesive was already holding before I forced all the air out to complete the adhesion. Then extended and retracted the canopy ALL the way to max a half dozen times and the ATack RV Awning Repair Tape held! I couldn't of been happier because sewing didn't work and we were looking to replace a $2k awning but, now I can avoid that big bill for a while. The price of this product -vs- $2k...?
