Immediate impressions out of the box are quality, it's a substantial size (42mm) and weight. Because I have small wrists I was concerned it may look 'over the top' and be uncomfortable to wear, but because it's totally not 'flashy' and looks nice and slim even on my wrist I think I can get away with it, plus the watch itself is very comfortable to wear but I will replace the strap with another as I do find the folding clasp does dig into my wrist. Another concern were the very 'waif-like' narrow hands which I thought may be difficult to see without a double-take or more, but not a bit of it, they are very easy to read even in dim light which surprised me. I also like the blue finish of them, sometimes in certain light when you look straight on they look black and at an angle the blue finish glistens.So okay it's made in China but that's totally no bad thing. The Chinese are more than capable of producing goods of equal quality if not better than the rest of the world and at the moment almost always at a lower cost - this watch is a great example of that. So I wouldn't let this put you off, if you do you'll miss out on a lovely watch for the price. Also from making comparisons Amazon are by far the cheapest place to buy, the other well known site almost EveryBodY checks out has this model @ £395 plus custom duty from America.To me a mechanical watch almost has a heart and soul, that combined with the fact this automatic needs you to wear it to provide the energy to enable it to tell you the time also gives me a connection with it I just don't find with a quartz - okay it won't be as accurate but that's the beauty of it, it needs 'hands-on' attention every now and again and that for me is no bad thing.The other reviews for this watch say it all - basically you will not be disappointed if you decide to buy, I know I wasn't. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Timeless Classic - That informs you what time it is... *by C***R on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 19 October 2018* This watch is extremely practical while maintaining it's rather elegant aesthetics as an accessory. I mainly wear this watch at work and the brown strap works with almost everything I wear in an office. I find the clock face to be an adequate size lying nicely on my wrist, any bigger and this would jeopardise comfort. The features on the clock face flow very nicely behind the main hands, not over complicating the visual aspect. For the price I feel like I was robbed. I was expecting better quality. If you have thinner wrists it will look ugly because it is thick and it will look raised above your wrist.
