So ... good health to you. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very good supplement *by L***8 on April 1, 2013* The extract in Heart Care appears to be the same one used in numerous studies available in abstract on pubmed. Unconcentrated hawthorn powder can have a relaxing quality, I find. This extract does not do that. The pills are very small and easy to swallow. Hawthorn takes quite a while to show results, usually a month to six weeks, so you have to keep it up. However, it can be used for a lifetime to nourish the heart muscle. At the higher recommended dosage, 6 per day, it apparently will help reverse atherosclerosis. I give this to my husband to keep his heart in shape (in addition to other supplements), because I do think it is effective, and because at the higher dose it is easier for me to get him to swallow 6 pills, since they are small. So why do I give this only four stars?
