How can a product that is so highly rated turn out to be such a piece of junk ? You can form your own opinions on that.The soles of theses shoes are so stiff it feels like walking on a block of wood. The straps are very loose. You get a flip flop that is very uncomfortable sloppy and difficult to walk in. They literally come flying off my feet when I walk. The worst part is they are a serious tripping hazard. The sole is so stiff that when you lift your rear foot to walk forward the heel remains on the ground for a second causing it to catch on just about everything. I live in my flip flops and granted I’m pretty fussy about them. I read in the reviews s lot of praise for the arch support. Yes, the support is much more substantial than other products but it’s hard as s rock. My feet really hurt after wearing them for an evening out.In the past I’ve paid three or four times this price for good quality flips. I should have know better. Good footware can’t be bought this cheaply ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The most comfortable footwear I've found - the cure for my plantar faschiitis *by W***. on May 24, 2018* Okabashi is the best!! They have a high arch support, and they CURED my plantar faschiitis. The footbed is the most comfortable of anything I've worn. They are better than any orthotics in any of my other shoes, and I've tried plenty. After wearing shoes, even with orthotics, no matter which brand, my feet will be sore by day's end. I used to have to literally crawl out of bed i the morning, they were so sore. So I put on the Okabashis and feel instant relief. When I wear them all weekend, I have no pain whatsoever. Your results may differ, but these literally changed my life. I keep a pair in either car, put them on after leaving work.Don't tell them, but they could cost 3 times as much and I would still buy them. They are better than Birkenstocks. I have bought over 20 pair for myself and friends, and they all love them. I have called them directly and asked them to make orthotics! ### ⭐⭐ What is wrong with the leather strap? It hurts *by H***G on February 20, 2019* The review with the strap digging into the skin is true.
