But sure, it'll leave marks on leather after prolonged use. **Q: Is the backrest meant to move? When installed correctly in my car, the back rest seems to be able to tilt forward slightly. Is this normal?** A: Mine does this also. I think the back of the seat is hinged slightly so it fits different back seats as they are all angled differently. Once the child is in with the seatbelt on nothing is going to move. **Q: Does it recline?** A: I wouldn’t say it reclines but the back can move to fit the angle of the seat it’s going on. So glad we paid a bit extra for the quality *by B***A on 28 March 2020* So after my son grew out of his original maxi cosy isofix seat, we needed something a bit bigger that utilised the cars seat belts. There are so many available, with and without isofix. We wanted isofix, so the chair wouldn't move about when not in use. There are so many cheap chairs and really expensive chairs, we really didn't know wether the money made any difference. So after a visit to a shop to look at some properly, we came acros this one. It's really sturdy and comfortable. It fits my son perfectly. We ordered from Amazon as it was cheaper than the shop. It arrived promptly and we put it in our Audi q2. It fits perfectly, and my son loves it. He is able to do his own seat belt due to the design (which he can't in our second seat) so that makes things much easier.
