The leather was so hard that no matter how many times I wore them, I came away with blisters on the heels. I tried to soften up the leather, but they resisted and won the battle. They languish in a charity shop now. I bought them in the Indigo and Jade shade and they are really cheerful The soles are perfect for wearing on a cruise too, as you need a good fitting shoe to get from cruise liner to tender if the boat is too big to berth right by the dock.
