The issue that might come up is lip sync error where the timing of the audio output doesn't match the display voices. You may have to change setting in the bluray audio output to stereo and the same on the amp. I would recommend looking at a HDMI 2.2 HT receiver for the best fix. **Q: does this work with Roku Streamer?** A: I am a professional AV installer i have connected over 50 of these extractors with Roku media players. There are 2 audio outputs Optical and 3.5 stereo analog, if your using the stereo output move the audio bitstream selector switch to the 2ch mode.
