They are slightly big on him (he is small for his age), but this adds to the comfort factor and my son loves them so much and wears them every night to bed and around the house after school. He tells me how comfortable they are to wear. I am glad I bought the size I did for him, but if you are looking at form fitting or a tighter fit (and you have a son who is on the smaller side), I would probably size down. We have washed them a few times and the outside still looks good, but the inside part that doesn’t show pills a little (which isn’t a big deal because no one sees this part).
