I called customer service they suggested once the mat is cleaned a few times that should no longer be an issue. Well, it's no longer an issue. The family has used this mat daily since we received it and is holding up incredibly. We mop after every use, that can be 2-3 times a day. Workout with sneakers and without , doesn't slide around at all and we are not gentle nor graceful when we are working out.
