To ensure that I studied the correct content, I did have to use the Praxis registration site to find a better study guide. I was seriously better off using the study guide I found on the Praxis website (which is free to download and print) and using Google to find the information I needed to study rather than solely relying on this Mometrix book.Now don't get me wrong; there was some information that was included in this text that was useful and it explained it in great detail. Plus it included a practice test and a website to access additional resources. I just feel like this particular text had some unnecessary information that was not on the actual 5621 exam (and it is a waste of time studying). However the information is nice to learn and it can be useful once you begin working in the classroom.If you are interested in purchasing this text, just be aware that additional study guides are STRONGLY recommended to use if you want to be successful in passing the Praxis 5621 exam. The study materials are sloppy, poorly organized and many sections repeat themselves or cover the same exact material worded slightly differently in later sections. I found several examples of poor editing (did anyone proof read this thing?) and many topics in the practice exam aren't covered at all in the study section (Bloom's Taxonomy??). There is no structure, no charts for different learning models or bullet points, just paragraph after paragraph. The table of contents lacks subsections to break down all the information included in each larger section which makes it messy.
