I apparently did not read the description very carefully. My 4 hermit crabs almost died in this habitat. It only works with heat lamps, which are strictly for heating a reptiles. Humidity did not reach proper levels and the heat lamps dried out the substrate. The construction and appearance are great,but do not buy for Hermit Crabs.
