JCG JWA-N8002 300M Plug and Play Universal Wireless Range Extender Wi-Fi Repeater

I got mine on September 5th and setup was easy however if you try changing setting sometimes the reset button doesn't work and can be pain the figure out the manual. The manual isn't very straight forward. It may be difficult for some people who aren't technologically educated. It did boost my connection for sure and with the used of a Ethernet cable it's stronger. The connection is a little more stable. I would give this 4 out of 5 for some troubles it gave. Instructions do not present what you actually see. Could only get it to work without security. Once I tried to get it to sync up to the router using the instructions for protected mode, no data would pass over the connection. No customer service number on the instructions to get things fixed with, and because it was only a $12 item, I threw it away. My opinion is that you would be wasting your money on this item.

I purchased this because my wifi had a hard time reaching all the way back to my bedroom. It didn't speed my wifi up at all and half the time I couldn't get my devices to connect. Eventually, I just tossed it in the junk drawer and resorted to using my phone data to connect to the internet in my bedroom.

It worked perfectly for what I needed! I wanted a network repeater, and after several failed attempts at making a netgear one work for over double the price, I went with this product. It is AMAZING how much better service we get through the house now. It is a wonderfully versatile device too. Just take your time when looking over the instructions to make sure you don't skip any steps or do the "wrong" set up. GREAT product ESPECIALLY for the price point. No headaches, either.

This repeater is ok. It is small and doesn't draw a ton of attention to the wall that it is plugged in to, but it did not come with instructions. Sometimes the repeater will not keep the Internet signal, but there is no notification when it loses the signal.

I bought this item on 2015, it worked so so. but today it drived me mad. It is shutting down and restarting every 10 seconds.. i searched the web but i couldnt find any solution.. is it dead??? i tried to check it by an ethernet cable.. but since it keeps shutting down and restarting so quickly i couldnt have managed to check whats wrong with it.. so upset...

Pretty easy set up, but if you hit any snags there are lots of tips here in these reviews that'll most likely get you squared away, For us, it gets a decently strong signal to those back bedrooms upstairs, far away from our main router. Price hard to beat, too!

You really don't need to be tech say to set this range extender up and other reviews have some helpful tips if you are dumbfounded by the instructions. This device does extend the range and is faster than our old Cisco extender that we also bought on Amazon. The price is definitely worth it and I consider it to be an excellent value.
