very good printer , instructions on assembly could be clearer

I just wanted to share my experience with everyone regarding the Alunar M506 3d printer. First thing to point out is this is a DIY kit and requires some build time, I was able to fully assemble and begin using within 6 hours. That being said you can expect nothing but the best performance from this amazing machine once set up, and should you need assistance during or after the build Alunar support is lightning fast to respond.Personally I have printed no less than 14 successful models all of excellent quality in the week it's been running, and flawlessly I might add. Honestly I believe that within a short period of time 3d printing in the home will be as common as game consoles yet far more rewarding and educational to both young and experienced. Do yourself a favor and search the internet on the subject if you're still unsure about the technology, I'm confident it will surprise you.

This was originally a 2 star review but it has been bumped up to a 4 star as I cannot fault the excellent quality achieved with this printer, maybe even better than a 3 grand Makerbot! Once the kinks were worked out, the printer performed exceptionally well.Here is the original review:"We have had no end of issues with this product. From the power supply breaking to the nozzle clogging up and not being able to remove it. We had a lot of problems with the Bed levelling/height. Whenever I levelled it, it would push itself out of alignment quite often and the head would proceed to cut into the bed. When we first started testing the motors, we found that the Z axis was seized. (We fixed it with a bit of oil in the end)"After this, I managed to unclog the nozzle and sort out the Z Axis (Don't tighten the thread holders onto the X axis too tight!) I also found that the nozzle will leak if it is tightened wrong (Tighten it on WHEN IT IS AT ITS HOTTEST! if it isn't hot enough the metal will expand and create gaps, leaking everywhere and ruining the print). The bed leveling has also resloved itself now that the filament is extruding properly, before it had eo be exactly perfect to work as the filament was way too thin. Now it comes out fine and the bed does not have to be as precise.The seller was also very helpful and tried their best to sort any problems I had out, providing custom diagrams and extra information.

Good choice as aa cheap and afffordable 3d printer and works as expected. I gave 3 stars becuase it needs some more improvements and a lot of work to fine tune it. The Z axis threaded rods are not properly fixed from the top side. Also bed adjustment has to be performed continuously so get some alignment sensors. The nozzle needs major improvement and has to replace it entirely. It's our first 3d printer and worth the money spent on it as a learning experience!

This printer is good as a beginner printer, however I have had no end of issues with this and the customer service from Alunar has been shocking at best. Taking over a month to respond to my initial query, and still waiting for spare parts to arrive. Would recommend against purchasing this product for that reason alone, if you're okay with buying spare parts separately and hoping for the best about them fitting, along with the fire hazard (yes, this thing spontaneously combusted on me) then it's an okay printer, however I would recommend spending a little more cash and getting something more advanced and safe.

While difficult to assemble alone, if assembled properly it produces very high quality results for a printer of this price range. The instructions and 3d print files for replacement parts are on an included SD card; I would recommend backing up these files as soon as possible since the SD card failed within 4 days of assembly for me. Overall this is a very good first 3d printer and the only failed prints have been due to user error and the SD card's failure.

Der Drucker ist ein Bausatz und wer es kann, hat ein preisgünstigen Drucker gekauft, der auch super funktioniert! Er hat eine genaue Montage Anleitung in englisch und sogar Videos auf den Stick! Also die Leute die in der Bewertung jammern muss halt mehr Geld ausgeben wo man nichts machen muss!Voll zufrieden in mein Anwendungsbereich!

Aufbau verlief super, lieferung kam punkltich und gut verpackt.Anleitung ist auf der Speicherkarte.Qualität super,einziges Manko falscher stromstecker mitgeliefert.
