Recommend! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Favorite food *by Z***F on May 7, 2021* All the negative feedback is for the lack of knowledge on how to prepare and consume. “Flakes” don’t mean “eat raw out of the box”. Add cold water 2:1 and leave for a couple hours to preserve vitamins until water absorbs. If in a hurry, add boiling water instead and microwave for a few minutes. With a pinch of salt and some corn oil or sunflower oil it is a tasty and healthy side dish. With a little sugar, salt and cold milk (after it was cooked as above) it is a breakfast that even picky kids like. Another traditional recipe is to add a smashed hard boiled egg (warning for very literal people: remove the eggshell first!), oil, salt, French fried onions and canned beets.
