I love the kids swim vest design over the typical arm floatie design! I feel like it fits snugger, my daughter is safer, and it will hold up longer than she will even need it! The buckles and straps are super sturdy and do not cause any issue with rubbing or cutting her skin. She loves it too- mostly because it's pink and had animals on it- but it also gives her more freedom in the pool (with me close by of course). Yes they recommend that the child is at least 30 lbs but I have’t Had any issues. The arm bands stay pretty tight to my sons arms and he doesn’t have any issues with it slipping or falling down. It also holds him up in the water so he can learn how to kick and is also giving him practice on using different strokes.
