It was relatively easy to put together. However, holding a large monitor when trying to screw it onto a mount was cumbersome. It would be better if part of it came off and you could attach it to your monitor then lift and click it in place. My main complaint is the tilt on the monitor. I have adjusted the monitor a few times and tightened the screws as far as they can and the monitor still ends up tilting forward slightly. It's not a lot but it's noticable and I'm wondering if over time it will continue to tilt more. I guess time will tell. Overall, it's pretty sturdy and does what I need it to do. If you have a bigger, widescreen display your mileage may vary on this one. Even though it says it supports over 30lbs I wonder about this claim. My first 24" monitor was too light, and even at the lightest adjustment the monitor would move up to max height. I had to install a bungee cord to give it just enough weight to make it stay where I wanted.Upgraded to a 27" LG IPS 4K monitor and it holds very well. Moves easily, stays where I put it.I have it on a desk next to my recliner, so that I can swing the arm over and it sits centered in front of me on the recliner.
