Unfortunately, they lost the aux cord we had so I bought this one. Actually, I really like this one much better for a couple of reasons. It has a metal cable rather than the braided one I used to have. I wouldn't have thought it but this cable actually coils up smaller and tighter than the other one so it takes up less space and stays neater in my console. The sound is just as great so it does appear to be a high quality cable. The cable length is perfect so anyone sitting in the back seat can easily use it and have enough room to hold and use their phone. Lots of room for my lunch plus a book, my wallet and whatever other small item I may need to tote to work. Also keeps items nicely chilled. I use Blue Ice blocks in the bag and although by the end of the day they're melted (after sitting in my desk drawer for 8 hours) they're still very cold. I agree, though, with the comments that it should have a solid bottom. Don't understand why they skimped on that but I just took the cardboard that held the shape of the bag during shipping, tore off the long thin ends and used the remainder to line the bottom. It's just about the right size and works for the things I carry.
