My cats chewed on my old hose but when I upgraded to a heated hose didn't want to take the chance. So far so good, but I also now put it away when I am not using it. It is a nice cover. Much better than the fleece covers that you slide on. **Q: Is this machine washable?** A: Yes. Handwash or machine wash on delicate.
