Works very well on normal shrink tubing, takes a little longer on marine connectors while on high. Only using it for the indirect heat because of the portability of gas, and the reliability of the product. This takes only seconds to warm up. 100 does a great job, and if you want a little more umph get the 200 for efficiency with a larger heat tip for better airflow around the splice.
