Decided to try these when my slider turtle became ill and it was critical that I maintain a steady, warm environment in which he had the best chance to recover. Have now been using these in his setup for over 3 months. (He's better now.) They are pretty accurate, differing on average by a mere .2 degrees between each other. The display is large enough to see, even without my glasses. I admit it would be nice if they were backlit, but at this price, I'm certainly not complaining. Speaking of complaints, here's my only one:. I can't get the suction cups to stay attached to the sides of his tank for any decent length of time. They just float around, as far as their wires will allow. My poor 54 year old turtle keeps thinking the wires and sensors are food and keeps biting at them. Not good. In all fairness, I should mention that his setup is made of a Rubbermaid-type material and not glass. However, the suction cups wouldn't hold the unit to the wall either, despite being affixed to ceramic tile. I had to attach them to the wall using doubled-over packing tape on the back.But, as far as accuracy, these are great and I would definitely buy these again. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Seems to work well, minus one suction cup *by E***Y on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on July 12, 2020* Got these for my leopard gecko's tank because my old thermometer was super inaccurate. So far (I've had them in for about 20 minutes now) they seem to be accurate, I put them both next to each other and the two read generally the same temperature, maybe a .1 or .2 degree difference which isn't bad. One of the suction cups for the probe doesn't seem to want to stick as well as the other, but i have one suction cup for the monitor on the outside of the tank and it has been holding up without falling. The cord for the probes are very long and thin enough where I can fit it under the screen top of my gecko's tank, and they seem to be made well.
