I ordered this blanket to protect our bed from wet dogs with muddy paws during winter and rainy weather. So far, we've been really happy with the purchase. The cloth side is very soft so our pets love it and the waterproof side has done an excellent job of protecting the comforter and mattress. The only thing I would personally prefer is a larger size. This fits well over a full size bed but doesn't completely cover a king bed.
