There were lots of little laughs in this Sunday afternoon of a film. Like all Aardman movies, it was a cracker. I really enjoyed it. Also, it was surprisingly moving, given that there was very little spoken language in it. I don’t know how Aardman films do this to me, but they always do. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Escapism at its best *by D***E on 8 March 2020* Having read one or two other reviews of this film which complained of the amount of Americanization involved I have to admit that I was dubious about buying it. I’m glad though that I didn’t let those reviews put me off. Yes, there are undoubtedly some things which may irritate British fans of Shaun the Sheep. However, the principal characters remain essentially unchanged and remain true to the originals. One or two scenes and particularly the American songs are most definitely irritating but not so much that they detract from enjoying the storyline and the animation.
