I’ve never sniffed a ski in my life but I have horses and I use this coat in the stables. It’s super warm (I had to unzip it a bit when it was -8 the other week cos I was too hot!!). The hood is adjustable to fit around your head properly without blowing down and it has a liner with a thumb hole in the sleeve for extra warmth. Plus plenty of pockets.It’s not QUITE waterproof but it goes a good hour in torrential rain before it starts to leak a tiny bit but that’s understandable.The only thing I would mention is that it’s not very breathable. If you get sweaty in it, it takes a while to dry out internally.
