Update: New backpack sent to me, zipper works.
UPDATE: 7/24/2018I originally purchased this backpack for my trip abroad to use day to day. As you read below, the zipper failed as I was on my way to the airport so I couldn’t use the backpack and had to purchase another on my trip. The company saw my initial review and contacted me immediately to apologize and send me a replacement which was thoughtful but did not help my current situation on my trip. The new backpack arrived approximately 2 weeks later with a working zipper.INITIAL REVIEW:This backpack didn’t even survive my drive to the airport for my trip I was so excited to bring it on. The zipper completely failed. Very disappointed and will NOT be purchasing again. Beware of this bag future purchasers. You have been warned.

Better than a purse when you are on the go!
This cute little daypack was perfect for my trip to Thailand and Tokyo. It is water resistant and holds just the right amount of items - water bottles, tour book and sundry. It is stylish and works better than a purse when you are on the go!The only drawback is how sticky the zippers are. They are caught easily and difficult to pull.

I was surprised by the copper straps but I love copper. I bought this for a day pack when I travel . I use a waterproofing spray to make it water resistant in rain. The one thing I would give this a negative rating on is that the two zippers do not work very smoothly.I have not used this yet on my travels but will post more after I do.

Wonderful customer service!
I bought this backpack the summer before returning to school and loved everything about it. The color is exactly as pictured, it fits my 13 in laptop inside a case, and the waterproof nylon isa lifesaver walking around a rainy college campus. Just few months after I began using it, the zipper broke and wouldn't close properly. I contacted the seller and they walked me through the process of getting a new one free of charge! They were so incredibly helpful and stayed with me every step of the way! Highly recommend this backpack and this seller

Zipper split before first use!
The very first time i used it, the zipper split. I had to rework the zipper a few times to get it to close properly. As soon as i put a few items in and zipped it, it split. I hadn’t even left my house yet! I used it as a carry on bag for a flight, but it only got worse and finally just stopped closing altogether. Total waste of money!

didn't hold up
This backpack seemed so sturdy but within one month of using it the main zipper broke and the lining on the inside tore all the way down the seem. I am really disappointed in the quality of this backpack.
