Adding an extra window to those smaller spaces where a skylight is not possible is not only an aesthetic feature to have in your room, but adds greater value to your home for resale.
- HOW DOES IT WORK? Sunpipe collects daylight using a patented high impact diamond dome, passing through a Super-Silver mirror finished aluminium tube which reflects and directs the natural daylight from roofs to the diffuser which spreads natural daylight evenly across the room and indoor areas. This natural lighting system creates healthier and more productive environments whilst reducing electrical lighting requirements, running costs and carbon footprint.

**Q: can i use this on a staircase is it fire rated**
A: Hi, you can use the Intumescent 'Fire Choke' Fire collars can be integrated within the system to prevent the spread of smoke and fire through the roof to give up to 2 hours protection. This is approx £350 plus vat extra

**Q: Can this be used with rolled tiles?**
A: This one cant be used with rolled tiles, we do however do a version for rolled tiles. It comes with lead flashing that can be moulded to the tiles. This is on our website https://tradeaccesspanels.co.uk/tubular-skylight

**Q: Do you need planning permission**
A: Thank you for your valued enquiry.  

We would not be able to advise whether Planning Permission or Building Regulation Approval is required I am afraid; you would need to discuss this with your local Council.

**Q: i have a gap between rafters of 300mm , will this fit**
A: The pipe is 300mm so you will need minimum 320mm for a 300mm sunpipe, you will need the 230mm version which will require 250mm.
