This is my first time buying this carrier brand. It was very easy to use. I could get my baby in and out of the carrier without help. With four kids this is really important.My fourth baby was born end of April and I was able to carry him in this for every store trip until the buckle that goes around the waist broke. It started out where the seam seemed to have been coming loose. Then one afternoon during a shopping trip, it finally came undone enough I had to stop and go back to my car to get his car seat to finish shopping.My baby was just 2 months old and a little over 13lbs when the belt seam broke. He wasn't too heavy, the carrier wasn't over used. It was never machine washed. The seam came undone and there really isn't a way to explain the defect away to bad care-taking.
