This one met a combo of my needs including name brand with expectations of long term reliability, very quiet, high CFM, and most importantly the low profile to fit in the space I have. The most intimidating part of the installation was cutting the drywall overhead and hoping I didn't make any visual mistakes. I'm not an expert, so I'm not sure how you're supposed to be able to use the external brackets that stick out of the corners for installation after you've already slid the thing into place. I don't have access to the other side of the drywall to put in those screws when I'm standing on a ladder in the bathroom. Perhaps these can only really be used during an initial install and not a retrofit. I ended up just putting some wood screws through the actual metal exterior and straight into the stud. This solution worked just fine and presents no issues. We've had the fan in for several months and it's used daily. Definitely quieter and more airflow than our old model.
