You must make the holes bigger for both the screws and anchors. I was waiting to hear a crash made by my bike, but it hasn't fallen. I have no garage so I have to store in my laundry room. (at least points of install are random)** A: I've had it for a year, haven't noticed any wear on my tires. I would hope you wear your tires out from riding before the sidewalls from the friction of pulling the bike in and out of the clug. **Q: What size drill bit is required for the pilot hole? and size of the anchor?** A: I do not recall which size drill bit I used be cause I simply used a bit smaller in diameter than the screw. This method was sufficient for me to screw it into a wall. The main concern is what kind of wall or surface you plan to screw into. **Q: Does the Hybrid come in Black and white?** A: Yes **Q: The mtb's stated range is 43-62mm, has anyone tried it with 700x45c tires? if so, did it feel loose, since it's at the lower end of the range?** A: I can't address this directly since I;ve got 700x35 tires -- but I got the "hybrid" CLUG which is rated for 33-42mm tires so I'm also at the lower end of the range. There's a no wobble, as the thing expands to accept the tire and then closes around it. But there's a bit of slop in how the rest of the bike sits on the ground. Really good product and I would recommend it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ This thing is so awesome and discrete. *by E***J on December 26, 2022* Works just like it should and holds the bike vertically against the wall. The reason for the 4 star review is that the rear tire needs to rest on your actual wall for this to work, so the rear wheel ends up scuffing the heck out of your nicely painted wall (if this is mounted indoors like mine). I wish there was a solution provided (or at least a warning), that was as elegant as this actual product for this issue. I ended up pinning a fairly large piece of paper where the rear wheel makes contact that I can easily replace over time.
