Material eventually wears out. I used these for over a year. Iā€™d say they lasted about a year (180 rides). Not safe on the palm side, so I decided to buy more expensive gloves with scaphoid protectors (palm sliders) and leather. These are good value for what they are. **Photo is after over 1 1/2 years of use.
