A little bit of loosening parts and tightening them back up to get it into the desired shape but that was it. I had purchased another variety of pen for my eight week old puppy, but it had multiple horizontal bars going around the perimeter which the Puppy could easily put his feet on and jump over the top. He was literally out of the pen within minutes of bringing him home. Once he figured it out, it took him seconds to climb out of the pen every time I put him in. This thing works fantastic because he can’t get a toe-hold anywhere to climb over the top. I looked all over Amazon to find something like this and almost everything offered has those horizontal bars.
